Young Adult Historical NovelsYoung adult historical novels (YA historical novels) include many well-written novels that appeal to both young adult readers and older adults. Individual listings of books include recommendations for the age or school grade of readers, if currently available from the publisher or a guidebook such as RoseMary Honnold's The Teen Reader's Advisor  . These guidelines are very general: parents and teachers should consider a young person's individual taste and maturity when choosing books for teens or younger children.
